The first week of early voting is now history
Hi all, Hope you saw the ad in the News Connection today. I think it describes well what my stand is
on 2499 as well as the general air pollution issues that I think we may be faced with as time goes on. Let me know what
you think. The first week of early voting is over. Total votes appear to be about 400 or so. Since one has
a choice of LISD only or LISD plus Highland Village, it is hard to know for sure who voted in the municipal election and the
LISD bond election or just the LISD bond election. Hopefully you all have voted in both elections. We have early
voting on Monday and Tuesday from 7 AM to 7 PM. Then on Saturday, May 10, the fun of election day exists from
7 AM and 7PM. Come on down even if you have already voted. We can meet if we have not and talk about things that
you like and don't like. See you then I hope.
I also hope over the last few weeks I have convinced
you that a vote for me is a vote for Bold Leadership for a Quality Environment. Have a good weekend.

Forum tomorrow night at 7PM at Lewisville Chamber 551 N. Valley Parkway
Hi folks, Tomorrow night you will be able to see all three Highland Village Mayoral candidates in action at the Republican
Men's Club and the Lewisville Area Republican Club's forum for contested races in Flower Mound, Highland Village,
and Lewisville. Since the Mayor's race is the only contested race in Highland Village, you will see the three Mayoral
candidates discuss the issues. Each of us will have a 3 minute intro then we will answer written questions from the
audience and that will be followed by a 2 minute closing statement. Hopefully some of you folks can come and join us.
Your questions at the forum will be welcomed. Thanks for you support through this campaign. We cannot get
complacent but it would appear that our message is appealing to a majority of our residents. I need your vote and am
asking that you vote for Fred Busche for Mayor of Highland Village. I am doggedly determined to do a good job as your
Mayor. Let's proceed down the road to a better Highland Village together.

Voting information
Hi again, Today is the second day of early voting. I have attached a sample ballot. There is only one
contested race on the ballot. All LISD and other Council seats are unapposed except Place 1, Mayor. There are
two LISD proposals on the ballot. These proposals are requesting a vote of the people to either approve or reject the
issuance of bonds for new schools and a performing arts center. I have taken the liberty of highlighting the Mayoral
candidate that should be your choice for better government. Vote today from 8AM to 5PM at City Hall, 1000 Highland
Village Road. A vote for Fred Busche is a vote for Bold Leadership for a Quality Environment.

VOTING STARTS TODAY
Hi folks, The time has come for decision. We are at a turning point in our city's direction that we need
to embrace and capitalize upon. From this time forward we will be attempting to insure that the physical environment
that we have is enhanced with greater beauty and not left to languish on a path to the status quo and stagnation. We can successfully
move forward with your vote. If you and your neighbors do not come out to vote for the future of our city we will remain
on a path that I believe will not be kind to our environment either physically or socially. Please help me change the
city direction to the new path of environmentally friendly progress to a bright future. Vote for Fred Busche
for Mayor and I promise that I will doggedly pursue the future with your involvement. It starts today with early voting
from 8 AM to 5 PM and continues all this week. Next week on the 5th and 6th the times are 7AM to 7PM and then election
day on the 10th from 7AM to 7PM. Thanks for your help for a better Highland Village.

I am running for Mayor because I think that there are things that I can do to help The City of Highland Village to move
down the road toward a bright future. We need to spend our tax dollars wisely, preserve the beauty of our community,
protect our citizens with strong fire and police, and have a mitigation strategy in place for hardships that may impact our
citizens and long time businesses. We must also help to preserve our environment. I will work with the rest of
Council to use energy saving practices with respect to City Facilities. In addition I will work diligently with council
to strive to be an example for North Texas in the use of passive energy sources that might include solar and wind. As
Mayor I will do everything in my power to convince my colleagues that tax relief for our citizens on fixed incomes must
be a priority. I will need your help in making this possible so please contact me with your concerns and suggestions.
