Looks like no forum

Hi folks,

I had hoped that there would be a forum in the next couple of weeks but unfortunately the only time you will be able to witness the candidates in action is at the May 1, candidate forum sponsored by the Denton County Republican Mens Club and the Lewisville Area Republican Club.  This forum will be held at the Lewisville Chamber Building at 551 North Valley Parkway in Lewisville.  The forum will feature folks that are in contested races in Flower Mound, Highland Village, and Lewisville.  I am sure that there will be some media coverage but it may not be published until a lot of folks have voted in early voting.  Too bad.  Anyone can attend so if you want to see us in action come to the forum.

Hope all is well and don't forget to vote on May 10.

Let's have a forum

Hi folks,

Sorry to be so long between posts but the website has been down for maintenance.  I have a proposal.

If you are still unsure as to who to vote for in this election, I urge you to address the issue with The News Connection and other media outlets such that you can see the three candidates in action.  The only chance to see how we differ on issues is a forum that will beheld by the Republican Men on May 1.  This is a nice gesture on their part but it is being held after early voting has already started.  It would be nice to have a chance to discuss the issues before that time.  You can click on the links to media outlets on the lower right.  Please ask them to allow you to see the three of us in action.

As always, your comments are welcome and please vote May 10 or earlier.  Thanks.

I am running for Mayor because I think that there are things that I can do to help The City of Highland Village to move down the road toward a bright future.  We need to spend our tax dollars wisely, preserve the beauty of our community, protect our citizens with strong fire and police, and have a mitigation strategy in place for hardships that may impact our citizens and long time businesses.  We must also help to preserve our environment.  I will work with the rest of Council to use energy saving practices with respect to City Facilities.  In addition I will work diligently with council to strive to be an example for North Texas in the use of passive energy sources that might include solar and wind.  As Mayor I will do everything in my power  to convince my colleagues that tax relief for our citizens on fixed incomes must be a priority. I  will need your help in making this possible so please contact me with your concerns and suggestions.
